Dermal Fillers

Many patients are uneasy about the outcome of facial fillers. Stephanie has spent over 17 years studying facial anatomy and injecting hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers to create natural results. As we age, our skin loses elasticity and volume, which can lead to wrinkles and sagging. HA fillers can help to restore some of this lost volume, smoothing out lines and wrinkles and giving the face a more youthful appearance, which can make individuals feel more attractive and rejuvenated. The hyaluronic acid fillers we offer are extremely effective in mimicking the natural hyaluronic acid our bodies already produce to hydrate and plump the skin. By injecting hyaluronic acid into the skin, dermal fillers can help to improve skin texture and tone, giving individuals a more radiant and glowing complexion. Dermal fillers can also be used to enhance and define certain features, such as the lips, cheeks, and jawline. By adding volume to these areas, individuals can achieve a more defined and sculpted look, which can enhance their natural beauty.

The process starts with an aesthetic consultation to discuss your skin type and quality, medical history, your desired results and how much product is needed to achieve these results. Prior to the injection process the skin is sanitized and topical numbing cream is applied. Post treatment, you may expect swelling, discomfort, redness, or tenderness at the injection site.  These symptoms are mild and may last for 7-14 days post treatment.  The results are often subtle, yet impactful, giving individuals a renewed sense of confidence and self-esteem.

The most commonly treated areas of the face include:

  • Lips
  • Cheeks
  • Jaw
  • Chin
  • Smile Lines
  • Mid-face Volume Loss

Post treatment we recommend:

  • Avoiding alcohol intake for 24-48 hours
  • Avoiding excessive sweating or heat exposure as this can increase swelling
  • You may apply ice for 15 minutes on, and then 15 minutes off for 12-24 hours
  • Tylenol can be taken to minimize tenderness
  • Limit intake of Ibuprofen, aspirin, or fish oil to minimize bruising
  • Antihistamines such as Benadryl can be taken to reduce swelling

How long do results last?

Dermal Filler results can last anywhere from 6-18 months depending on the type and amount of product used.
